Stealing Home

What's the point?

I was hoping you would know.

  2. Dear Kate,

I appreciate and i understand your struggle. I also am a Christian. The church body i was born and raised in could not make a place for me. It was a painful thing to leave it. It felt like being kicked out of home. It's been a rough road since then. I've made a new spiritual home but it will never replace the first one. Still Jesus and i walk on together. It's been a strange journey.

  3. Is this a baseball reference? You steal home to get on the scoreboard. Are you going for a life analogy here? Well, if you don't want to be on the scoreboard, then set right down on third base. Maybe have a margarita while you're there. Catch some rays. Sure, the fans will be a bit upset, and the other runners will be piling up on you as they run for hom...but then you're on your 3rd margarita and can't be bothered with trivial issues.

  4. OMG! I don't even know! I like the margarita suggestion... though I'm a little shocked you didn't offer up a martini... or at least a mojito.

Ironically, I was really drunk. So, I'm not really sure what the post was about. Probably a call to arms to protect against the threat of home invasion. That or a desire to jump Chipper Jones (3rd baseman for the Atlanta Braves a million years ago). I get confused.

I guess it's not really that ironic that I was drunk.
